How Bad Do You Want It?
A documentary series focused on the ambition, sacrifice, and persistence behind independent creators.
The Vision
How Bad Do You Want It? was created to tell the stories behind independent creators; not just what they make, but what drives them, what they’ve sacrificed, and how they keep going when the path gets difficult.
The goal was to create interviews that felt personal and cinematic rather than promotional.
JorgeWithAnX
JorgeWithAnX is a Northern California content creator and social media entrepreneur known for high-energy comedy, local culture, food, events, and “things to do” content.
He has built an audience of more than 500,000 followers on TikTok, with videos regularly reaching tens of thousands to millions of views.
His work blends humor, community, and local discovery, and he has expanded that experience into social media marketing for businesses and brands.
For How Bad Do You Want It?, I worked with JorgeWithAnX to move beyond his public-facing content and tell the story behind the creator - his growth, creative process, audience-building, and transition from making videos for fun into building a business around content.
Did I Go Dumb Again?
Did I Go Dumb Again? is a seven-part autobiographical music documentary exploring addiction, identity, loss, recovery, and the question of who you become after surviving the version of yourself that almost destroyed you.
Told through personal archives, interviews, music, and present-day reflection, the series follows my journey from self-destruction to sobriety while documenting the creation of an album shaped by those experiences.
Rather than presenting recovery as a simple before-and-after story, the documentary examines memory, regret, relationships, creativity, and the long process of rebuilding a life.
I developed the concept and narrative structure, conducted interviews, directed and produced the documentary, shaped the story in post-production, and used music as part of the storytelling rather than simply as a soundtrack.
The project required organizing years of memories and archival material into a cohesive multi-episode narrative with a clear emotional arc.
